I miss school

Sigh. It's a cold and cloudy summer day. Apparently the first day of summer was last Tuesday. Is it the 28th of June already? Wow. Even boring summers go by fast. Well I miss waking up ridiculously early in the morning for a purpose and stressing out about the previous night's homework. I miss walking to class with a big "I'm so happy to be here" grin on my face. Now the days are long and I have a lot of time to work on things I actually want to. (Almost) Double sigh. Maybe I've always had some kind of school supply fetsih. There's something about new binders and pretty pink notebooks and sharp pencils and blank notebook paper that just makes me SO happy. Every summer I'm always looking forward to those back to school sales for some reason. Most people would be happy to be away from school. I guess I'm more different than I thought. Oh well everyone might have a backwards trait in them somewhere.

SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!!!

School years go by so fast. You walk through the doors of the year and then when you blink it's over. All in all I had such a good year and no matter how you look at it I'm actually NOT looking foward to summer. Sometimes summers are bummers. I can't draw anymore and writing a song is so hard with this block in my random brain. The thing I like and will miss about school is it's something to do. Oh well. . . At least I had a wonderful year filled with lots of ups and downs.

I've noticed . . .

If I said "I saw a classroom full of students today" you would probably say "And you're telling me this why?!". What would you say if I told you the students on the left were on fire and the students on the right were frozen?
I was sitting in the back of the class working on school stuff and then I looked up. First there were four people on the left wearing bright red and about 3-5 people on the right wearing bright blue. Like Fire and Ice. But then I noticed there were MORE than three people wearing red on the left. And on the right one person at my table was also wearing blue along with most of the people. Well obviously no one planned this. Isn't it kind of strange though? Having fire and Ice right in front of you?

For the people in Japan: Happy White day! I don't need to pray that they make it through this catastrophe. I KNOW they will make it through this catastrophe.

Grades are NOT set in stone!

You know what's really annoying? You're looking at your grades and it shows what colleges you can't get in to because of your current G.P.A. I mean it's not like your grade is going to remain that bad for the rest of eternity! GRADES ARE NOT SET IN STONE! If you have an entire semester to go why must you be so preassured now?! I understand it's probably because of motivation but for some familes grades are taken so seriously it's kind of sad. The world will not END if you have an F on one assignment! You can pass your next test and do your homework and the F will be gone. Now that there's no point in F's what's the point in A's? Well A's will get you somewhere in your future life. Just imagine you finally sign up for your life long dream job, but you have an arch rival and the boss of the job has to choose between you and your arch rival. Both of your interviews was flawless so your boss looks at your grades. Your rival has all A's and you have B's C's and one F! YOU DIDN'T GET THAT JOB YOU'VE BEEN DREAMING OF! All because of the A's you didn't get. Which is why A's are important.
