New Year, Fresh Start

For those of you who have actually been following this blog SURPRISE! I'm not dead. Whether or not I was really alive that's a question we'll save for another blog post. It's a new year and time to turn a new leaf. This lovely picture you see here is what I call my happy jar. I stumbled across a tumblr post that read "After January 1st 2016 start a jar. Fill it with happy memories and open it at the year." or something along those lines.
Happy Jar
More New Years goals include; actually making posting videos, keeping journals up to date both on and off line, posting more art, communicating with the family more, taking more photos, reading and publishing books, the list could go on but in a way making a list could be interpreted as a form of procrastination.
Why is it that no one can actually stick to New Years Resolutions? I have never met a single human being that hasn't broken at least one New Years resolution.

Resolution
"a firm decision to do or not to do something"

Deciding to work out for thirty minutes everyday is the easy part why is that so gosh darn hard to actually do? (Specifically if you're a not-so-in-shape-unless-stick-is-a-shape-person like me)
It's easier said than done but why? That's why I call them New Years Goals.

Goal
"the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result."

That's more like it. Aiming high is something we can all agree on right? That's all I have for now but stay tuned.
