October has come to a close and NaNoWriMo has just begun. For those of you who have not heard this word it stands for National Novel Writing Month which is an annual challenge for writes to create a 40,000 word novel in the month of November. For the first time ever I have decided to accept this grand challenge and take it a step further. I've challenged myself to write two novels that are at least 50,000 words.
One of the novels is for a different contest that expires in December but nonetheless I shall finish it.
So far I have written a grand total of 1,043 words. Only 98,957 to go. Sadly none of the 1,043 words can express how much I hate the number nine. This was my first time setting a word count goal and counting my words. I felt so accomplished I had to write a blog post about it haha.
We'll see how this goes.
