Random Book Recommendations#1

One of my goals for 2016 is to read at least 50 books. I believe that sharing your favorite books with another human being is the equivalent of saying
"Here's a piece of my soul. You want to get to know me and what I like? Read this."
With that said here are pieces of my soul;
I'm not going to summarize the plots. I'll let you enjoy the magic yourselves.

Boy meets Boy
 If I had a dollar for every time I mentioned this book in a conversation I would be rich enough to buy at least a thousand copies and hand them out to my friends and their friends and their friend's friends. This is the first book to bring a tear to my eye. David Levithan, in my opinion, is the master at expressing the full range of human emotion through realistic, relatable characters. Obviously this is a gay love story. If that's not your cup of tea just keep scrolling.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson
 If you enjoyed Boy meets Boy and The Fault in Our Stars you're going to Love this book. David Levithan writes from the perspective of Will Grayson and famous Youtube Vlogger John Green writes from the perspective of the other Will Grayson.

The Truth About Alice
by Jennifer Mathieu
Usually stories are told by either the protagonist or just the writer.This book is told from the perspective of every other character. It's nearly impossible to to stop turning the pages, in my opinion.

Papertowns
by John Green
A good friend of mine once said "That book is a once in a lifetime read, savor each page." and I have found this to be absolutely true. It is relevant dare I say timeless and breaks down the meaning of adventure through five main characters who individually experience the full range of human emotion. Young impressionable teenagers could learn the true definition of understanding other human beings and that there is more to life than the plans that society typically tries to smash into their brains. Go to school, go to college, get a job, get married, and only them will You be happy.

Stay tuned for more book recommendations.
